EVENT #01 - PROLOGUE: CORONATION (SIGN UP)

This, my friends, will be the site's official first Event. Start it off with a bang, I guess; there are going to be a few hidden surprises here and there. So, let me set the scene for you...

SYNOPSIS

With the tragic fall of Yatarian King Savat at hand, Alicon, his son, has been appointed in his place. Unfortunate for some, due to the man's mannerisms, but, still, life goes on, and Alicon is ready to receive this boon from the world, graciously as he can. The Coronation is to take place in the Yatarian Palace, and it'll be a mass public event - people from all around are invited as VIPs, and most civilians are allowed to come and watch, too!

The mission itself will open with Alicon actually receiving his crown and making a speech in the Palace's throne room. It will then continue on into a pre-prepared party, during which people will be free to congregate, meet and greet the new king and bump up his ego a rung, and, finally, a little surprise will be thrown into the mix.

ENDING

Undefined, but it's known that Alicon will bear the crown.

STARTING DATE

Mid-late March.

CHARACTERS REQUIRED

- Yatarian Combatants
- Any world leaders/faction heads. Yataris is a neutral party.
- Any other people holding prestigious ranks in various organisations.
- Businessmen, etc etc.
- Anyone else who feels like coming along to the party!
- Freelancers who are beyond willing to get their hands dirty for a big score. (PM me if you classify as this)

RULES/REGULATIONS

- Any violence, thievery, or other mischief during the party will be met with detaining in the Yatarian Palace dungeon.
- You can deviate throughout the party's course, and explore the Palace, but please know that most of it will be guarded. Guarded means passable, but just be careful - a new king won't take lightly to you rifling through his regal underwear draw. Yes, that means you, Mura.
- Every post MUST be titled with your location and the characters you're with.

I know you were asking about Rodrigo, though I don't really know what he'd actually do. PM me if you still need a PC for the 'surprise' if it's what I think it is. Bones might go for the chance to learn stuff about the city she was probably born in, but definitely avoid the party; she's not a fan of noise. Does the palace have a library that she could stare at angrily wondering what words are?

I'm signing Aurora and Barius up for this. If I have time to get enough points to make Amelié, she may join as well. But she'd probably just be some kind of sideline, freelancer-ish figure since she's a singer.
